Amitabh Bachchan who always make it a point to meet his fans on Sunday has cancelled his famous 'Sunday meet ritual' due to the Coronavirus Outbreak. The actor has requested all the Ef and well-wishers to not to come to Jalsa and asked them to be safe instead

The megastar Amitabh Bachchan has had a long-running tradition of greeting his fans outside his residence Jalsa as his loyal fans make it a point to gather outside his residence in Mumbai every Sunday just to get a glimpse of the actor. Since he is one of the biggest stars in Bollywood and also enjoys a huge fan base, we see a pool of fans outside his residence every Sunday morning. On several occasions in the past, Amitabh has shared pictures of him greeting his fans from the gate of his residence and expressed his gratitude for their continued love and support. However, this tradition is now broken, all thanks to the coronavirus crisis. 

 

As the government adviced people to avoid crowded places and also close human contact, Amitabh Bachchan took the decision in the wake of this crisis. As we know, Covid-19 is very contagious and when in crowded places, the chances are high to get infected by Coronavirus, Big B took to his Twitter handle and cancelled his Sunday meet in order to ensure the safety of his fans. The actor has requested all the well-wishers not to come to Jalsa and asked them to be safe instead.

 

Taking it to his handle, he shared a picture of himself along with a note that read, "T 3470 - To all Ef and well wishers an earnest request! PLEASE DO NOT COME TO JALSA GATE TODAY... SUNDAY MEET am not going to come! Take PRECAUTIONS… be safe Sunday का दर्शन Jalsa पे cancel है , कृपया कोई वहाँ जमा ना हों आज श्याम को  । सुरक्षित रहें"


Meanwhile, recently, Amitabh had posted a video expressing his concern on the spread of coronavirus and tried to raise awareness among the masses on the same.
